In 2006, the father of one of this website’s creators suffered a devastating stroke when he was only 62 years old. His family suddenly found themselves reaching out for information and resources to help their loved one overcome the many challenges he now faced. Although it seems you can find anything on the Internet these days, they discovered there was no comprehensive online resource offering the information and specialty products that are so vital to stroke survivors, their families, friends and caretakers.

We developed this website for others who find themselves navigating the same unfamiliar territory. When someone you care for suffers a stroke, the goal becomes helping that person regain his or her independence and dignity. It is our hope that this website will help you or someone you love reach that goal as quickly as possible.
